Premium Dining and More One of the many unique benefits of Masonic Village is the Irem Clubhouse, located on-site. Meet with residents and friends for lunch and dinner. Dine on American-inspired cuisine including weekly and nightly chef specials. The clubhouse includes meeting rooms and a ballroom for resident gatherings and parties, as well as wellness opportunities. Grab and go options are available with the Masonic Market, located at the Walther Apartments, featuring sandwiches, salads and cold dinners to reheat and serve.

CIP Rehabilitation Inc. Located in the Irem Clubhouse, CIP Rehabilitation’s professional staff provide outpatient rehabilitation services including physical, occupational and speech therapies. They also offer a weekly Senior Fit Club class.



Options You’re ready to move. What’s next? We offer one- and two-bedroom apartments where you can take in a sunset from the rooftop balcony or meet with neighbors in common areas. In a quaint neighborhood setting, villas feature two-bedroom and two-bedroom/den floor plans with one- or two-car garages.

Payment Options Enjoy a private, spacious home while we manage day-to-day services and maintenance for you. We’ll work with you to find the option best suited for you, your lifestyle and your budget.

Entrance fee options include: Guaranteed Appreciation Plan – Under this plan, you would be guaranteed 90% of the entrance fee paid within the first year of residency. Each year thereafter that you reside in your apartment or villa, you would receive an additional 1% of the original entrance fee paid toward a future refund to you or your estate. Eight-Year Declining Balance Plan – This option is a lower financial investment with a refund balance that declines gradually over an eight-year period. The length of stay determines refunds to you or your estate. The amount of refund declines at a rate of 5% the first month and 1% each of the following months. After eight years, there is no remaining refund.

The apartment rental fee option includes: Maintenance and all the services and amenities listed on page 5, covered under one monthly fee. There is no entrance fee.

Care & Support Care Coordination Our experienced and professional team is here to help. On-site staff can provide resources and guidance with any transition of care, whether in your home or with a health care provider in the community.

In Your Home Our staff can help you coordinate services such as Meals on Wheels, transportation, pharmacy deliveries, home care or home health care through our community partners. To ensure you find a good match, our approved provider list includes only private duty service companies that have met certain requirements.

Rehabilitation Services Find the assistance you need on your road to recovery after a hospitalization with rehabilitation services through our preferred community partners. Available on-site, CIP Rehabilitation offers outpatient services, including physical, occupational and speech therapies.

Nursing & Personal Care Rest assured knowing you have priority access to quality health care, if needed, through our network of community partnerships. Our preferred health care partners include Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located a short distance from our campus. Masonic Village locations throughout Pennsylvania are also an option for health care services.

Financial Assistance Financial assistance is available to those who qualify and who remain within Masonic Village’s care. It is required that your financial resources are preserved for the cost of your care and services, and our staff will help you to identify all available financial assistance, when needed.


Five Things to Know 1. Anyone age 60 and older may apply. For couples, one person needs to be age 60 and the other at least age 55. Anyone age 55 and older may sign up for the priority wait list. For additional requirements, please contact the Sales & Marketing Office. 2. Move-ins average approximately three months, and Masonic Village has various resources to assist you. 3. We know your pets are part of your family, and you may bring up to two into your new home. We’ll provide specific requirements based on your preferred residence. 4. Masonic Village may provide support to qualifying individuals who may no longer be able to afford their services, at some point in the future, for reasons beyond their control. Our staff can provide guidelines. 5. Residents receive access to personal care and nursing services with our preferred partners or at another Masonic Village campus in Pennsylvania.

Nearby Wilkes-Barre boasts shopping, theaters and more than a dozen parks with hiking trails, tennis courts, shuffleboard areas, volleyball courts and ice skating rinks.

The F.M. Kirby Center features concerts, orchestras, plays, Broadway touring shows and comedic acts. Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs hosts a casino and live harness racing. Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza is home to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, Pittsburgh’s farm team. The New York Yankees Minor League Baseball team plays in nearby Moosic.

Application Process STEP 1: Contact the Sales & Marketing Office to schedule a personal visit. STEP 2: We will send you an application to complete and return within 14 days. STEP 3: Within seven days of receiving your application, we’ll follow up with any additional questions and/or recommendations.

STEP 4: We will notify you of your approval and send a copy of the resident agreement for you to review, sign and return within two weeks. Entrance fee plan - Upon signing the resident agreement, 10% of the entrance fee (minus the application deposit) is payable on your reserved residence. If you decide not to continue with the application process, following a sevenday rescission period, we will refund your 10% payment (minus the application deposit). Within 90 days of signing the resident agreement, or upon occupancy, whichever is sooner, the entrance fee is due. Within 60 days, or upon occupancy, whichever is sooner, the first monthly service fee is due. Rental plan - The balance of your first month’s rent is due when you return the resident agreement.

Priority Wait List Applications If you’d like to plan for the future, you may submit an application for our priority wait list. Entrance fee priority wait list - Include a $1,000 deposit to place your name on this list. Rental plan priority wait list - Include a $200 deposit to place your name on this list. Your deposit will be credited toward your application deposit when you apply for a residence.
